Lop-Eared Guard – Extra 3

“You didn’t let me get in bed, but you didn’t say I couldn’t hold you.” Lu Shangjin tilted his head to kiss his cheek and lips, hooping his arms around his slender waist. He intertwined their tongues and deeply kissed him for a few dozen seconds.

Yan Yi took little Lu Yan back into his arms and used his rabbit ears to cover the baby’s eyes. He broke free from the alpha’s arms and whispered, “Acting so indecently in front of the child.”

Lu Shangjin rubbed little Lu Yan’s head and gently told him that this was his dad’s love. When Lu Yan grew up, he could only do such things to the person he loved the most.

With his eyes blocked by Yan Yi’s rabbit ear, little Lu Yan raised his head and giggled, replying obediently with an ‘mn’.

Yan Yi lost his temper and lowered his eyelids, unable to show any emotion.

Lu Shangjin slightly tightened his arms and lowered his head to kiss Yan Yi’s neck. His lips rubbed against his smooth glands until the omega’s body trembled lightly in his arms. He whispered in Yan Yi’s ear with a deep and sexy voice.

“Can I…come back home?”

Yan Yi raised his hand and rubbed his nose, hitching the child up as his adam’s apple moved slightly.

“Depends how you perform.”

Lu Yan grabbed the sleeve of Lu Shangjin’s clothes and looked up at Yan Yi, whispering, “Qiu Qiu can walk by himself. Daddy should hold daddy too.”

Lu Shangjin immediately sighed in his heart, saying that this obedient son was not born in vain.

At night, Lu Shangjin sent the auntie to leave work early and cooked a table of vegetarian dishes himself. Yan Yi buried his head as he ate and didn’t speak, while Lu Yan’s small mouth munched and enjoyed the particularly delicious food.

Yan Yi looked at the few newly added wounds on the alpha’s hand that had yet to heal, hesitated for a moment, and whispered, “I’ll clean up the dishes later.”

Lu Shangjin didn’t stop him and simply cleaned up the kitchen while Yan Yi washed the dishes. After cleaning, Lu Shangjin plastered himself behind Yan Yi’s back, holding him.

The water trickled down slowly and the kitchen was quiet enough to hear only this faint sound of dripping water, as well as the occasional crisp sound of porcelain surfaces clinking whenever Yan Yi picked up bowls and plates.

Lu Shangjin looked down, the tip of his nose silently rubbing against his ears.

A warm and broad chest pressed tightly against Yan Yi’s back from behind him. Yan Yi’s head was lowered as he washed the dishes, but in actuality, his mind had already wandered.

The air became inexplicably sticky and was permeated by the diffusion of a light pheromone scent.

The alpha said hoarsely, “I miss you.”

Yan Yi’s answer was similar to that of chatting with an acquaintance, “Then why didn’t you come back.”

“I was afraid you didn’t want me.”

“Then why did you come back.”

“…I was afraid you really didn’t want me.”

Lu Shangjin only confessed half of the truth to Yan Yi, exaggerating the miserable selling point of his story by describing himself as a lame stray dog. However, he still didn’t mention the injury he suffered for Yan Yi.

In truth, nothing could be concealed from Yan Yi. In the past two years when Lu Shangjin was away, he investigated everything that Lu Shangjin had experienced in detail.

Yan Yi was tired of being kept in the dark, especially after the other party swore that it was for his own good.

So before going to bed, Lu Shangjin was once again pushed out of the bedroom and could only sit on the steps smoking a cigarette while sulking for a while.

About thirty minutes later, Lu Shangjin gently pushed the door open a crack and looked inside. Yan Yi had fallen asleep with a storybook in his hand, leaning sideways and holding Lu Yan in his arms curled into a tiny ball.

Lu Shangjin walked over quietly. He bent over and carefully pulled out the storybook and placed it by the pillow before turning off the wall lamp.

Taking advantage of the darkness, he climbed into the other side of the bed and laid down sideways, his palm resting on Yan Yi’s waist and holding the baby in the middle.

Half of his falcon wings quietly spread out, its dense and soft feathers wrapping them up, like a falcon guarding its nest after returning from its hunt for food.

“The smell of smoke is too strong.”

Someone in his arms complained in a muffled voice.

Lu Shangjin smiled and tightened his arms around the omega a little.

“I’m quitting.”
